Spring Harbor Hop At Lake Of The Ozarks! Here's What To Know For Next Weekend (2024)

Spring Harbor Hop is back for its 27th year and with 40 waterfront restaurants and marinas across Lake of the Ozarks to choose from, it’s a poker run built for all boaters!

The Harbor Hop is a boating event in which participants “hop” from and to waterfront restaurants and marinas to draw playing cards to build a poker hand and become eligible to win prizes. Players can start their hop and draw their first card at any of the 40+ sponsoring restaurants and marinas along the Lake’s main channel, the Big Niangua and Gravois arms.

This Lake of the Ozarks boating favorite event starts Saturday, May 4, and goes from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Harbor Hop is a great chance for a leisurely day on the water at fun Lakefront spots like Neon Taco, Paradise Tropical Restaurant, and Captain Ron's Bar & Grill, among many others.

Enter the Harbor Hop by stopping at any of the participating checkpoints and drawing your first card (hands can be obtained with an optional $20 donation) Six additional cards are obtained by “hopping” to six more checkpoints drawing one card, per hand, at each location. The hand is complete when the 7th card is drawn and the completed hand is turned in at the checkpoint where the 7th card is drawn. To qualify, a hand must be turned in by 7:00 p.m. the day of Harbor Hop.

Plus, there are prizes for the best poker hand (and for the worse)! Prize allocations are listed below and are based on entry donations.

1st Place: 10%

2nd Place: 9%

3rd Place: 8%

4th Place: 7% each

5th - 10th Place: 5% each

4 Worst Hands: 4% each

Random Drawing for 10 Hands: 2% each
