Will's P.O.V. (Drug and alchol mentions, Character death)
After the war Chiron decided to take the younger demigods, to Disney world for a week, which is like so not fair in my opinion. I would love to go but I think it's because he wanted to give us a chance to readjust and morn without having to look out for our younger siblings. Of course this means that we would do exactly that, and reconnect with each other.
But, by reconnect I of course mean, party. And today is the first party of the week, held of course by the hermes cabin. So here i was in forn of NIco Di Angelo's cabin pacing back and forth trying to work up the courage to ask him to go with me. I got Nico to stay three days in the infirmary and he even comes by to help sometimes. He likes me, as a friendsadly. Nothing to worry about. Here goes nothing, I finally knock on his door, just as he opens it and I hit him on the shoulder. OH MY GODS HOW DID I START OUT THIS BAD. He's gonna say no, or he'll know I like him and stop hanging out with me, because of his past upbringing.
Oh my gods is he hom*ophobic? What have i done, how dare I fall inlove l-liking with him, when I don't even think he knows I'm pansexual.
"Umm hi?" Nico said his voice smoothe, and strong, I felt my knees go weak right away. I swallowed, okay Will I can do this, just don't be awkward.
"HEYYYYY NEEKS" I said, weiderly loudly, well there goes not being awkward...
"Please don't call me that" he said rolling his eyes. His long eyelashes fluttering as he did. I can't help but just admire his beauty for a few more seconds than I should.
"Okay, whatever you want deathboy" I said laughing.
"Is there umm... Something you wanted or did you come here to call me annoying nicknames?" he asked, still in his cabin because I was blocking his door. Come on Will now or never!
"I wanted to know if, you'd like to go to Travis and Conner's party with me" I said, looking at my shoes. He's so gonna say no. I finally looked up and saw Nico smiling a full tooth grin, oh my gods he was beautiful. I would do anything to see that smile again.
"I'd love to go with you Will! Thank you" he said excitedly, he got on my his tippy toes and kissed my cheek. I felt myself go red in a second.
"Give me a second to change into party clothes, and I'll be ready to go" he said, still smiling. OH MY GODS NICO DI ANGELO JUST KISSED MY CHEEK, I'm never gonna wash that cheek again. Now I sound like a middle schooler. I felt a bunch of butterflies in my stomach, and I feel like jumping for joy and vomiting at the same time.
Nico took about three minutes, before coming out with a whole new outfit. It was nothing like I had ever seen him wear before. it was a red tube top that showed his pale shoulders, and his ribs stuck out but not as bad as how he was after the war. His pants were really baggy dark blue cargo pants that were made with denim. His waist was super small, and his abbs were showing. Will felt heat on his face as he saw the lines that led...
Okay Will now take him to the party.
"Ready to go WIll." I nodded, not trusting myself to speak, and we arrived at the party. It was already 8:30 and the sun was down. We entered the cabin, and it was bigger than I remembered. The whole place felt hazy like there was a thick smoke in the air. There were lights flsahing different colors. I grabbed Nico's hand so I wouldn't lose him and we worked our way through the crowd.
We eventually ran into the Lou Ellen and Cecil. I started to talk to them, Nico ventured off at some part of the conversation. After about hanging with them for 30 minutes, I ventured out to find Nico. I looked for him for a long time. I eventually found him standing on a table with Leo Valdez, dancing. Leo and Nico had become become really close friends.
The songs Shots was playing, Nico and Leo were singing loud to the lyrics, they had six shots floating on shadows in front of them. Everybody was sing-yelling with them.
"SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS!" all the people in the room seemed to yell, and I saw Nico and Leo down the shots in a matter of seconds.
I had never seen Nico like this before, so wild and free, his hair was a sweaty mess. His pale skin turning different shades in the party lights. He was laughing so hard I could see all of his teeth and smile. Nico was hot, really hot. And of course because Aphrodite really wanted to drive me insane today the next song to play was belly dancer.
Nico and Leo started to sing it word for word. Will watched mesmerized as Nico started to shake his hips, thrusting from side to side and front to back. It was enough for him to suck in his breath. Leo and Nico had grabbed hands and were dancing together.
As soon as the lyrics said "Hey ladies drop it down" Nico turned his body and dropped it down, giving me a nice view of his ass, and seeing his sweaty hair in his eyes, along with is collar bones. Nico slowly rose back up using his flexibility to come up like he was doing a bridge. It drove me insane. I sat there in the entrance of the room for two or three songs, just watching Nico Di Angelo dance.
I always saw Nico as cute, pretty, beautiful, handsome, but never sexy. And now I don't ever think I could see him like anything else, but in the red lights, showing off his hot body to everyone by dancing. Leo and Nico were dancing close but they had been the whole time. Something primal in me ew that sound so gross but I wanted to be the one dancing close to Nico, I wanted to see this crazy free side of him. Where he wasn't constantly guarding his emotions.
Leo noticed me starring and smirked, the bastard. He pointed me out to Nico, who nodded and finally got down. He walked over to me, and dragged me out of the cabin, through the back door. A few other people were out here smoking, and getting high of nicotine or weed.
Lovers rock is playing, and Nico wraps his arms around my neck, I am blushing so hard and feeling a little tipsy from my drink earlier.
"Do you wanna dance with me Solace?" he said his beautiful brown eyes looking at me, all of me I felt fully seen by this short boy. Something I've never really felt.
"I would love too" I said putting my hands on his waist. We started to sway together, his breath was warm from the party, and especially hot in the cold summer night. I felt it against my neck and it sent shivers down my spine.

Something that you already have" I start to sing with the music, I was not blessed with the music gift from my father, so I am mediocre at best. But I didn't mind showing that weakness in front of Nico, he just smiled.
"But if you're too drunk to drive. And the music is right. She might let you stay. But just for the night. And if she grabs for your hand. And drags you along. She might want a kiss. Before the end of this song" Nico sings, his voice is so beautiful and I want to hear him sing again right away. His voice was soft and gentle, but it was also warm. I looked down at him again.
"Your so beautiful" I whispered. Nico looked down, for a second.
"Will don't say things like that, you'll get my hopes up" Nico said suddenley his voice shaky.
"Get yours hopes up for what? I'm telling the truth" I said moving my hand to cup his face in a very Ao3 fanfiction way.
"I like you Will, and I know that, that's wrong and you probably don't want to be my frined any more, but I-I can't help it your just so kind to me, and I got drunk tonight to work up the couarge to tell you, and to distract myself from, from Bi-" he almost finished but stopped. Bianca. He was going to say Bianca. I forgot to say something and he probably saw my confused expression. Nico then ran, I had never seen anybody run that fast before.
"NO NICO WAIT!" I yelled. But I was to late, I started to run after him. The Hades cabin door was left open, and I walked inside calling his name.
(Warning vomiting)
I heard vomiting coming from the bathroom, I went inside and held his long wavy stands up as he was hunched over the toilet. When he was done leaned on the sink cabinets facing me.
"Bianca, did that for me the first time we got drunk. I was like ten, and she was 12." he said, tears falling down his high cheek bones.
"We didn't know about hangovers and stuff, we had just been to the first party of our lives and even then everything their was new." he said smiling sadly at the memory.
"Tommorows, her birthday. I miss her so much, she was the only thing that kept me connected to are Mama, she was my world. We did everything together, and I took care of her just as much. I was the one in charge of getting us food, I took the blame whenever something at our school went wrong. But she still left me..." Nico said his voice quiet.
"I'm not even mad anymore, I just, I just miss her. We were always supposed to be there for one another and then she dies, but she couldn't even wait in the afterlife for me, she chose rebirth" Nico whispered now.
"This is her first birthday since she chose rebirth, and I feel so alone" he said.
"That's really hard, and it sucks. I know it's hard but remember your not alone, I'm here, and I like you a lot Nico, like a lot. And it'll always be hard without our siblings, but everyday we live on, were honoring them" I said, my voice also quiet remembering Lee and Michael.
"I met your brothers, and they are really proud of you Will" Nico said, smiling shyly at me. I blinked tears out of my eyes.
"Thank you" I said after a minute. We stayed there in silence. Eventually we got up and Nico changed into batman pajama pants, with no shirt on which made me really flustered.
"Do you really have a crush on me, or were you just saying that?" Nico ask almost quietly as we sit on his bed.
"I've had a crush on you since the battle of Manhattan, your breathtaking, and smart, not to mention really hot" I said, Nico blushed. He leaned forward, and kissed me softly, his lips were really soft, compared to my chapped ones. The kiss wasn't long but it was sweet, and it made my blood hum with happiness. I smiled the biggest smile in a while. Nico had one on too.
"Will you stay the night? I don't wanna do anything, I just don't want to be alone right now" he said his voice shy again.
"Of course Nico," I said, and we laid down in his bed, his cold body in my arms. We whispered to each other until we passed out. I have never felt so happy in my life.
